Into the Wild North East: Manas, Nameri & Beyond

A cultural and wildlife odyssey in India’s green frontier.

Adventure

Wild North East

Embark on a 10-day journey into India’s wild frontier. Experience full-day safaris in Manas National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and guided foot safaris and rafting in Nameri National Park. Encounter rhinos, elephants, hornbills, and the rare Bengal Florican while exploring pristine Himalayan foothills and grasslands.

Cultural

Local Connections

Immerse yourself in Assamese culture through stays at homestays like Rhino Camp in Manas and eco-camps in Nameri. Savor Assamese thalis, walk through bazaars buzzing with silks and spices, and experience Bodo tribal performances that keep local traditions alive. Each day blends cultural immersion with wildlife exploration.

Heritage

Timeless Landscapes

Begin in Kolkata, the cultural capital, with its colonial architecture, museums, and riverside history. In Guwahati, visit the ancient Kamakhya Temple and witness the conservation story of the Greater Adjutant Stork. Travel across Assam’s river valleys and forested hills, uncovering a living heritage where nature and tradition meet.

Authentic

Community & Conservation

Experience the warmth of Assamese hospitality in homestays, where your stay directly supports local communities. Cruise the Brahmaputra at sunset, shop at traditional markets, and share conservation stories by the campfire. This is not just a wildlife expedition, but a chance to live like a local and build lasting connections with the people and landscapes of India’s North East.
