Itinerary Overview
Day 1: Arrive in Delhi :
Arrival & hotel check-in. Afternoon sightseeing: Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate, Qutub Minar or Lodhi Garden. Dinner at Karim’s or Saravana Bhavan. Overnight: Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi → Agra :
Travel ~230 km (~4.5 hrs). Visit Agra Fort and Mehtab Bagh. Sample Mughlai cuisine. Overnight: Agra.
Day 3: Taj Mahal → Fatehpur Sikri → Bharatpur
Sunrise at Taj Mahal. Visit Fatehpur Sikri and travel to Bharatpur. Enjoy Rajasthani snacks. Overnight: Bharatpur.
Day 4: Bharatpur Birding → Jaipur
Morning birding at Keoladeo National Park. Drive ~185 km to Jaipur. Taste dal-baati-churma and laal maas. Overnight: Jaipur.
Day 5: Jaipur Sightseeing + Leopard Safari
Visit Amber Fort, Jal Mahal, and Hawa Mahal. Afternoon leopard safari in Jhalana. Optional street food tour or Chokhi Dhani. Overnight: Jaipur.
Day 6: Jaipur → Orchha
Drive ~450 km (~8–9 hrs) through Rajasthan and MP. Highway dhaba meals. Overnight: Orchha.
Day 7: Orchha → Khajuraho → Panna
Visit Orchha Fort, Khajuraho temples, then drive to Panna (~220 km total). Sample bhutte ka kees and mawa jalebi. Overnight: Jungle Lodge, Panna.
Day 8 and Day 9: Panna Safari
Morning and evening safaris. Optional visit to Ken Gharial Sanctuary. Tribal-style meals. Overnight: Panna.
Day 10: Panna → Bandhavgarh + Tribal Visit
Drive ~200 km. Afternoon visit to Baiga village (Bijhariya). Experience tribal lifestyle, food, and crafts. Overnight: Bandhavgarh.
Day 11 and Day 12: Bandhavgarh Safaris
Morning and evening safaris. New Year’s Eve forest lodge feast. Overnight: Bandhavgarh.
Day 13: Final Safari + Travel to Delhi
Morning safari. Drive to Jabalpur (~180 km, 4.5 hrs). Evening flight to Delhi. Overnight: Delhi.
Day 14: Departure
Airport drop. Optional souvenir shopping or breakfast tour for early risers.
